Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities, playtime, meals, naps, and outings. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for children across different developmental stages. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences to foster trust and transparency. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and development. Apply behavior management techniques to guide children's actions positively while respecting individual needs. Follow all mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly. Assist with diapering, feeding, administering first aid when necessary, including CPR certification standards for emergency situations. Requirements Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children with patience and enthusiasm. Strong child supervision skills combined with activity planning expertise tailored to various age groups. Certified in first aid and CPR; familiarity with mandated reporting laws is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with parents, team members, and children. Ability to manage behavior constructively while creating a safe and nurturing environment.
