Children's Christian Center is a nurturing and welcoming child care center dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and supportive environment for children to learn and grow. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team and help us maintain a healthy and safe space for children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform weekly cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas. Maintain the cleanliness of floors, bathrooms and kitchen. Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals according to guidelines. Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management. Follow health and safety standards, especially as they relate to child care settings.

Qualifications:

Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred (experience in child care, schools, or healthcare settings is a plus). Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Knowledge of safe cleaning practices, especially around children. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Must pass background check.

Hours:

6 - 10 hours a week. Evenings or weekends.
