Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Daycare Floater to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and be able to provide support across various classrooms, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children. This role requires flexibility, as you will be responsible for assisting teachers, engaging with children of different age groups, and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development.

Shift:

6AM-8:30AM & 1PM-5:30PM Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in various classroom settings, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children. Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities. Provide care for children, including diapering, feeding, and ensuring their overall well-being. Support behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms and play areas. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities. Participate in training sessions related to early childhood education and special education as needed. Collaborate with staff to create an inclusive environment for children with disabilities or special needs. Experience High School Diploma or GED Documented proof of 2,500 working with children Ability to obtain required clearances Previous experience in childcare or daycare settings is preferred. Familiarity with early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones is essential. Experience working with students or individuals with disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial but not required. Background in teaching, classroom management, or caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment are required.
