Manage classroom environments effectively through strong classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies to ensure safety and positive interactions. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster collaborative relationships. Conduct child development assessments and adapt lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each child, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure all safety protocols are followed, including first aid and CPR certification. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom activities, and student progress to create a cohesive educational experience. Skills Extensive experience working with children across infant, toddler, and preschool age groups with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques tailored for young learners. Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention strategies, and literacy education to support diverse learning needs. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children to promote holistic development. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.
