Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development in infants Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, routines, and health updates Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's daily experiences, milestones, and any concerns Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment Support children with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines with patience and compassion Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and developmental growth Experience Prior experience working with infants in a daycare center or early childhood education setting is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques Experience with classroom management strategies tailored for young children Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention Background in special education or experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members Certification in first aid, CPR (including pediatric first aid), and child safety procedures is required or highly desirable
