Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences through regular updates. Maintain accurate records of child development progress, attendance, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Collaborate with colleagues to design age-appropriate lessons that support early intervention strategies and childhood development principles. Incorporate classroom management techniques to create a structured yet flexible learning space that encourages exploration and social interaction. Requirements Prior experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting, preferably with toddlers or preschoolers. Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management, and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or childhood welfare are a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing related to early childhood education. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and ensure child safety at all times. Classroom experience in preschool or private school environments is highly desirable; experience teaching physical education or math is advantageous.
