Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Teacher working from 6 am to 2 pm, or as a Toddler Teacher Closer in a part-time or full-time capacity! In this dynamic role, you will create a nurturing, engaging environment that fosters the growth and development of young children. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities tailored to infants or toddlers, encouraging exploration and learning. Supervise children closely to ensure safety and promote positive behavior management. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences to foster strong relationships. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports child development and safety standards. Follow all mandated reporting laws and health guidelines, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure children's well-being. Support children's emotional needs by providing comfort, reassurance, and encouragement during daily routines. Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive classroom experience that aligns with educational goals and policies. Skills Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings, especially with infants or toddlers. Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision techniques. Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid is highly preferred. Strong communication skills for engaging with parents and team members effectively. Ability to manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies. Familiarity with special education practices or experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for early childhood education.
