Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and education to children ages 3 to 10 years. Interact consistently with children in a positive, loving, and supportive manner. Implement and support the play-based academic curriculum to foster growth in academic, emotional, and social development. Lead and manage a classroom of 8-12 children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Collaborate with team members to develop and deliver a structured program. Participate in facility and classroom maintenance to ensure an optimal learning environment. Foster a classroom culture of respect, kindness, and inclusivity. Engage with families through effective communication, providing updates and maintaining positive relationships.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years as a classroom teacher is preferred.
Skills:
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to lead and direct children in a dynamic and structured environment.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with children, parents, and staff.
Curriculum:
Knowledgeable in minimum standards and committed to implementing a well-organized, positive approach to teaching.
Teamwork:
Must be a team player, able to share ideas and contribute to an established structured program.
Certifications:
Up-to-date CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Current fingerprinting is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
