We are looking for someone who can provide a structured, loving, and engaging classroom environment while confidently managing the very real day-to-day needs of preschool-aged children. ✨ The right person for this position is someone who: Is reliable and consistent with attendance and scheduling Can follow and maintain a daily classroom routine Is patient, energetic, and comfortable with a busy and sometimes rowdy group of preschoolers Can redirect challenging behaviors calmly, professionally, and appropriately Is comfortable assisting with diapering, toileting, accidents, and potty-training encouragement Understands that children develop at different rates and can support them without shaming or frustration Can keep children actively engaged through play, learning activities, centers, outdoor time, meals, rest time, and transitions Communicates professionally with coworkers, administration, and families Can take direction, work as part of a team, and maintain classroom expectations consistently Genuinely enjoys working with young children and understands that childcare requires patience, flexibility, attentiveness, and a good sense of humor ⭐ This is a 9:00 AM-6:00 PM position. Reliable attendance is extremely important. Experience in childcare or a preschool setting is preferred. Pay:

$11.00 - $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Application Question(s): This position is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM. Are you consistently available to work this schedule? Do you have reliable transportation to ensure you can arrive on time for every scheduled shift? Are you comfortable changing diapers and assisting children with toileting accidents when needed? Our Pre-K classroom can be busy, loud, energetic, and occasionally rowdy. How would you handle a group that is becoming difficult to redirect? A child repeatedly refuses to follow directions, runs away from the group, and begins disrupting other children. What would you do? This position requires active participation throughout the day- not simply supervising from the side of the classroom. Are you comfortable leading activities, playing with children, participating in centers, going outside, and managing transitions? Tell us about your previous experience working with preschool-aged children. (Childcare center experience is preferred, but please include any relevant experience.)
