Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a key leader in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants. Your expertise will guide the development of individualized care plans, foster positive relationships with families, and ensure that every child's developmental needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with developmental milestones. Supervise and support assistant teachers and caregivers to maintain high standards of care and education. Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth for each infant. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment adhering to health and safety regulations, including pediatric first aid and CPR protocols. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a clear and compassionate manner. Observe and document each child's development to inform planning and share insights during parent-teacher conferences. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and all licensing requirements related to childcare and early childhood education. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers. Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, including classroom management and behavior guidance. Strong understanding of special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities or developmental delays. Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and familiarity with health safety standards. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering a warm, nurturing atmosphere. Knowledge of early childhood education best practices, including child supervision, caregiving techniques, and behavior management strategies. Pay:
$16.50 - $16.75 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
