Position Summary This posting is intended to establish a pool of candidates eligible to teach college level courses. Applicants with experience and education in any field are encouraged to apply. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and manage course syllabus and materials Develop and manage an online course site in the college's LMS, Blackboard Learn Maintain records of attendance and student performance Submit attendance and grades as required by the College Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred Experience 1-2 years of teaching experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Design and deliver effective instruction Assess student learning and incorporate findings into course delivery Utilize a learning management system to supplement face-to-face instruction Support and encourage students in a civil and welcoming classroom climate This is a continuous job posting to establish a qualified pool of adjuncts on an as needed basis semester to semester. Adjunct pay dependent on degree level.
