View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications An Associate degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, child development, special education, or a closely related field. A Bachelor's degree is desirable. Two (2) years of experience supporting students with behavioral needs, including experience implementing behavior intervention strategies and supporting behavior intervention plans, is desirable. At least one (1) year of the experience must have been in a school or educational setting. Licenses and Other Requirements A valid California driver's license and evidence of insurability are required. Valid First Aid and CPR certifications are required. Certification in a District-approved Nonviolent Crisis Prevention and Intervention (NCPI) program must be obtained within three (3) months of employment. All required licenses and certifications must remain current as a condition of continued employment.
