Employment Type Part Time Job Summary Job Summary Objective and Assignment:

Assisting teaching and programming staff with interventions and expanded learning programming after school from 1:30-5:30, Monday-Friday, 20 hours weekly. 4 hours per day. Paraeducator Expanded Learning Leading small groups, or classes up to 15 students in activities; Assisting expanded learning programming, this includes before and/or after-school especially for the implementation of art and music programming. This will include assisting students 1:1; assisting the instructor with the administrative delivery of curriculum (passing out forms, equipment, collecting surveys); providing students with their daily schedule and a nutritious snack; and preparing enrichment materials. As per the CDE, The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) provides funding for after-school and summer school enrichment programs for transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. "Expanded learning" means before school, after school, summer, or intersession learning programs that focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of pupils through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. It is the intent of the Legislature that expanded learning programs are pupil-centered, results driven, include community partners, and complement, but do not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day and school year.
