Job Description

Make a significant impact by supporting students as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in a dynamic, contract-based role near Haverhill, MA. This part-time opportunity is perfectly designed for professionals who are ready to guide and empower PreK-22 students with hearing needs through both consultative and direct teaching services. This position features a manageable caseload of 43 students and centers on a consultative approach, allowing you to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize each students potential. Your contributions will play a key role in fostering inclusive and accessible educational environments.
What Were Looking For:
Valid Massachusetts Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) credential required Experience working with students spanning PreK to age 22 Expertise in both consultative and direct teaching models (primarily consultative support) Strong collaboration and communication skills Commitment to advocacy, accessibility, and student-centered education
What You'll Do:
Provide consultation and support to general education teachers, staff, and families Deliver direct instruction to students as needed Develop, monitor, and adapt educational plans and accommodations Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings Foster positive learning experiences across a diverse caseload What to
