Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students from kindergarten through high school as a dedicated educator specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing instruction. This contract opportunity offers the flexibility to work either full or part time for the upcoming 26/27 school year. You'll be instrumental in facilitating communication, fostering understanding, and empowering students to reach their fullest potential across a variety of educational settings. Preferred candidates bring strong experience working in school environments with Deaf or Hard of Hearing students and hold the appropriate Georgia ASL Interpreter credential. The number of students on your caseload will be determined before your assignment begins, but youll enjoy the chance to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families to shape the best possible outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Georgia ASL Interpreter certification Experience teaching or supporting Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in educational settings Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and adapting curriculum Strong communication and advocacy skills Ability to work with students from kindergarten through high school
Primary Responsibilities:
