Position Summary:

Instructional Paraprofessionals will support the needs of special education students. They will assist teachers with various tasks including instruction, support, reinforcement, and parent outreach.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate possesses a belief that all students are capable of learning. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the education and social development of students under the direction and guidance of general or special education teachers (remotely and/or in person)
• Providing support for students as determined by needs
• Assisting in administration of state/district wide assessments
• Implementing small group instruction as directed by the lead teacher, in a variety of content areas
• Maintaining confidentiality of student information
• Managing student behavior under the direction of lead classroom teacher
• Completing additional duties as assigned
• Participating in the Warrior
