This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for an educator ready to support students across two welcoming elementary schools, dedicating approximately half of each week to each site. With a manageable caseload of around 15-20 students, you will have the chance to tailor instruction and interventions that make a difference, all while growing your experience in a collaborative educational environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification, appropriate for elementary grade levels Previous background in special education, preferably within a school-based setting Strong classroom management skills and ability to differentiate instruction Effective communication for working with students, families, and staff Ability to adapt to varying classroom needs and create a positive, inclusive environment

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each students unique learning needs Provide direct instruction, support, and modifications based on IEP goals Track and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators Foster engagement and a supportive classroom community for students with diverse backgrounds and abilities Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress This role starts as soon as possible and is anticipated to run through winter break, with potential for extension if a permanent placement is not secured.
