Responsibilities include providing specialized instruction to approximately 15-20 students across two elementary schools, with a split schedule allocating .5 full-time equivalent (FTE) days to each location. This role requires adaptability to manage varied student needs and coordinate services effectively via telehealth platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized special education instruction using telehealth tools to elementary students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards. Monitor student engagement and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with elementary-aged students. Proficiency with telehealth technology and virtual instruction methods. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage a split schedule between two school sites effectively.

Location:

Bennington, NE This contract position begins immediately with expected service through the winter break. There is potential for extension if a direct hire option is not secured.
