Three-Year-Old Teacher - Go KidsJob Overview Go Kids is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Three-Year-Old Teacher to join our team! Our Three-Year-Old Teachers create a fun, structured, and nurturing classroom where children can build independence, develop friendships, explore new ideas, and grow their love of learning. At this age, children are becoming more independent and developing important self-help skills, including potty training and independent bathroom routines . Our teachers help guide this growth with patience, encouragement, consistency, hands-on learning, and positive relationships. We are looking for someone who loves working with preschool-aged children and is excited to help them reach important developmental milestones while preparing them for their next stage of learning. Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe, loving, organized, and engaging classroom environment for three-year-old children. Plan and lead developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that support early literacy, language development, beginning math concepts, science, art, sensory exploration, and fine and gross motor development. Follow Go Kids' established curriculum, classroom schedule, policies, and procedures. Encourage school-readiness skills including listening, following directions, participating in group activities, recognizing letters and numbers, developing fine motor skills, and completing age-appropriate tasks. Actively support children through the potty-training process , working patiently and consistently to help children develop independent bathroom and hygiene routines. Assist children with bathroom needs, clothing changes, and accidents when necessary while maintaining each child's dignity, comfort, cleanliness, and safety. Communicate with families regarding potty-training progress and work together to provide consistency between home and the classroom. Help children develop independence through daily routines such as handwashing, cleaning up, mealtimes, dressing, bathroom routines, and caring for their belongings. Support children as they develop important social-emotional skills including sharing, taking turns, communicating their feelings, problem-solving, and building friendships. Use positive guidance and age-appropriate behavior management techniques to maintain a structured and encouraging classroom environment. Lead engaging circle times, learning centers, small-group activities, outdoor play, creative activities, and other classroom experiences. Build meaningful relationships with each child and become familiar with their individual personalities, strengths, developmental needs, and milestones. Communicate positively and professionally with parents and guardians about their child's day, progress, accomplishments, and any concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom and ensure classroom materials and learning spaces are properly cleaned and sanitized. Complete required classroom documentation accurately and on time. Maintain appropriate child-to-teacher ratios and follow all Oklahoma DHS childcare licensing requirements . Follow all Go Kids health, safety, supervision, and mandated reporting policies. Work collaboratively with other teachers, leadership, and Go Kids team members to provide consistent, high-quality care. Participate in required staff meetings, training, professional development, and Go Kids activities and events. Qualifications Previous experience working with children in a childcare center, preschool, daycare, or early childhood education environment is preferred. Experience working with preschool-aged children, especially three-year-olds, is strongly preferred. Must be comfortable assisting children with potty training, bathroom routines, and occasional accidents . Understanding of basic child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Ability to create and maintain consistent classroom routines and expectations. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Ability to communicate professionally and positively with children, parents, coworkers, and leadership. Must be dependable, patient, nurturing, energetic, and able to remain positive in a busy classroom environment. Must meet all applicable Oklahoma DHS childcare licensing and training requirements . CPR and First Aid certification is preferred or must be obtained within the required timeframe.
