Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development and literacy education. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning. Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to foster positive social interactions. Conduct child development assessments to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Facilitate activities that support physical education, math skills, and other core subject areas. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student records. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Collaborate with colleagues to plan school events, assessments, and curriculum enhancements. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required; classroom experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention methods, and preschool teaching best practices. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within the educational community. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred or required depending on state regulations. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, standardized testing procedures, and child welfare policies. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Experience with classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment. Knowledge of special education needs related to toddler care, behavior management, and early childhood education standards. Passion for teaching young children with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for early childhood development initiatives.
