This onsite contract paraprofessional opportunity is open now through June 18, 2027, offering 31.25 hours per week in an intensive K-3 classroom setting. The classroom includes 11 students with a range of needs, including language-based and Autism Spectrum Disorders, and youll work closely with a dedicated team of six teaching assistants. Desired Qualifications:

Prior experience in a school setting, especially in special education or with early elementary students. Familiarity with supporting children with disabilities such as ASD and language disorders. Meets the requirements to serve as a paraprofessional under RI DOE regulations. Willingness and comfort assisting with toileting and diaper changing as needed. Strong ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized, day-to-day academic and behavioral support within a structured classroom. Assist students in achieving educational and developmental goals under teacher guidance.
