Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a dedicated 2-year-old teacher, where your enthusiasm and expertise will ignite a love of learning in young children. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored specifically for toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth tailored to 2-year-olds Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play with patience and consistency Utilize behavior management techniques to guide positive interactions and foster good manners among children Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address individual needs or concerns Incorporate principles of childhood development and special education strategies to support diverse learners Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor developmental progress and inform lesson planning Qualifications Proven classroom experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in daycare or early childhood education settings Strong knowledge of childhood development stages, behavior management, and classroom management techniques Experience with curriculum development focused on early literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods is preferred Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention strategies to support children with additional needs Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Ability to plan lessons that incorporate educational standards while fostering creativity and curiosity Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable Passion for working with children and dedication to promoting their welfare and overall well-being Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication shapes the future of young learners! Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
