Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing educational plans tailored for students with diverse learning needs. Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student progress and growth. Monitor and track student development, provide accommodations and modifications as necessary, and maintain required documentation in compliance with local and federal guidelines.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Valid Special Education teaching certification for South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain) Bachelor's degree or higher in special education or related field Strong classroom management and organization skills Experience with IEP development, documentation, and implementation Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet a variety of learning needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
