Desired Qualifications:
Valid Tennessee Special Education teaching license/certification with all necessary endorsements Demonstrated experience developing and implementing IEPs Proficiency in both inclusion and pull-out service models Skilled in using data to inform instruction and monitor progress Collaborative approach, comfortable working with general education teachers and families Strong commitment to fostering an accessible and welcoming educational setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage an elementary caseload, delivering exceptional instruction tailored to students needs Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements Maintain thorough progress records and provide data-driven reports Deliver instruction in a variety of settings, including inclusive and pull-out environments Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to ensure holistic support for each learner Participate in school-wide initiatives and ongoing professional development This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week through the school year, with duties beginning as soon as possible and tentatively ending in late May 2027.
