This contract opportunity offers two openings, beginning as soon as possible and extending through December 19th. Qualifications:

Active Tennessee Special Education Teaching Certification (required) Experience working with elementary-aged students strongly preferred Ability to utilize both inclusion and resource/pull-out strategies Excellent communication and organization skills Positive, team-focused attitude and adaptability to changing environments

Responsibilities:

Provide special education services in inclusion/push-in and pull-out settings Modify and deliver lessons based on individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families Maintain accurate progress monitoring and documentation Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment Participate in IEP meetings and staff professional development as needed Educators in this position can expect a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours across five days, serving elementary students in a variety of learning environments. The compensation for this contract role ranges from $35 to $40 per hour, paid weekly.
