Qualifications:

Active Texas State Teaching Certification required Must possess a Special Education EC-12 certification Additionally, hold at least one of the following: EC-6 Core Subjects, 4-8 Generalist, or a 9-12 subject-specific certification Flexibility to support students across varying grade levels according to district needs Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Dedication to providing inclusive, individualized instruction and support

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement lesson plans accommodating student IEPs and diverse learning needs Assess and monitor progress, adjusting instruction as necessary to maximize student success Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families Maintain thorough documentation, including progress reports and required compliance paperwork Participate in professional development and new teacher orientation Support a safe and positive classroom climate An attractive hourly pay is offered between $39 and $42 (commensurate with degree, certifications, and previous experience).
