In this dynamic role, you will support classroom teachers and ensure a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster positive developmental experiences for children in preschool and daycare settings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education while making a meaningful difference in children's lives. Duties Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, including lesson implementation and child supervision Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs through attentive caregiving and positive behavior management Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and needs Support classroom routines such as snack time, nap time, and outdoor play to ensure smooth transitions Follow mandated reporting laws and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in First Aid, CPR, including Pediatric First Aid is highly desirable Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong child supervision skills with the ability to manage behavior effectively Familiarity with classroom management techniques and early childhood curriculum implementation Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to work flexible hours as needed in a part-time capacity Join us to inspire young minds and support their growth in a lively, supportive environment!
