Header Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood education strategies. Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, and breaks to ensure safety and positive behavior. Provide individualized attention to students with disabilities or special needs, including those with autism or other developmental challenges. Help maintain an organized classroom environment by preparing materials, proofreading instructional resources, and managing educational technologies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom events to foster strong partnerships. Support behavior management strategies by reinforcing classroom rules and promoting respectful interactions among students. Assist with child supervision during outings, meals, and rest periods while adhering to childcare standards and safety protocols. Header Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of special education practices, childhood development, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) regulations and educational compliance standards. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and colleagues. Ability to operate computers and educational technologies for instructional support. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or must be obtained upon hiring. Demonstrated understanding of classroom behavior management strategies and working with individuals with disabilities or autism. Experience in early childhood education or private school environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
