Key qualifications:

Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) Experience as a paraprofessional or sign language interpreter in educational settings is preferred Comfortable working one-on-one to facilitate communication for students Reliable and able to commit to a full-time, school-based schedule (7:45 am 2:45 pm, Monday through Friday) No certifications required for this role Excellent listening skills and attention to detail Primary responsibilities: Deliver interpreting services exclusively to an assigned high school student throughout the school day Translate classroom lectures, discussions, and peer interactions into ASL to support student learning and engagement Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity while working within school guidelines Collaborate with educators and staff to support the students educational goals This is a fulfilling contract role where your ASL fluency and paraprofessional skills can truly have an impact.
