Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in an educational setting supporting students with diverse needs for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity is based near Davison, MI, with the assignment spanning ASAP through mid-June. Positions may involve personalized, 1:1 assistance for students across all grade levels, supporting learning environments ranging from general education to self-contained or resource classrooms for students with cognitive or emotional impairments. Your flexibility is valuable, as placements may vary and the district is open to considering preferences in classroom environments. Day-to-day responsibilities may include academic support, behavior management, toileting and diapering assistance for students with significant needs, and close collaboration with educators and families. Typical schedules are Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with building-specific hours between 7:15 am-4:15 pm. What we're looking for: Experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar support role within schools Flexibility to assist in a range of classroom settings, including severe and mild-moderate environments MINIMUM of 60 college credit hours (must provide official university transcript), OR Associate's degree or higher, OR Passing score on the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment (460+), OR Passing College Board SAT score (480+ reading/writing, 530+ math) Willingness to assist students with self-care needs, including toileting/diapering Professionalism, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset Why consider this role?
