9656269-48430 Job Description Make a direct impact supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year as a Paraprofessional on a contract assignment based near Fenton, MI. This full-time opportunity (37.5 hours/week, typical hours 7:15am3:15pm or 8:15am4:15pm) offers the chance to work across all grade levels, serving students in both self-contained and general education classrooms. Start as soon as possible and continue through June 11. In this role, you may be placed 1:1 with students who have cognitive or emotional impairments or assigned to resource or self-contained settings. Flexibility with caseload and classroom types is key, and the district will do its best to honor preferences. Some assignments may require assisting students with daily living needs, such as toileting and diapering. To be considered, candidates must meet Flint Community's Title I requirements by fulfilling ONE of the following: At least 60 semester hours of college credit (official transcripts required before district consideration) Associate degree or higher

Evidence-Based Reading/Writing 480, Math 530 Other requirements and desirable experience: Previous work in educational or paraprofessional settings Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills Comfort supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs Readiness to adapt to various classroom environments Youll benefit from gaining experience in a dynamic educational environment, supporting students with a range of abilities and working as part of a passionate team.
