What you'll bring: Previous experience as a paraprofessional in school environments Strong skills in managing and supporting students with behavioral challenges Patience, compassion, and the ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to handle situations involving spitting and attempts to undress, maintaining the student's dignity Reliability and punctuality for early morning and afternoon shifts Your responsibilities: Travel with the student each day during the designated bus routes, supervising her throughout the ride Implement behavior management techniques as directed by school staff Support the student in maintaining appropriate conduct and personal boundaries while in transit Maintain detailed communication with teachers, bus drivers, and parents as needed Ensure a safe, positive environment on the bus for the student and those around her This role offers a consistent schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:00AM-9AM & 1:30-5:30PM, and Fridays 5:00AM-9AM & 12:45-4:45PM—guaranteeing 8 hours daily.
