As our school continues to grow, we have two Assistant Teacher positions available on our team. We are intentional about who we bring into the Granny & Dot's family. About the Role Assistant Teachers are an important part of our classroom teams. You will work alongside our Lead Teachers to create a safe, engaging, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting Lead Teachers with daily classroom activities and routines Bringing our custom curriculum to life through hands-on learning and play Building meaningful relationships with children Supporting children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Assisting with transitions, meals, rest time, outdoor play, and daily routines Maintaining a clean, organized, and engaging classroom Helping with classroom preparation and closing responsibilities Maintaining appropriate supervision and classroom ratios Communicating professionally with families and team members Being willing to jump in and help wherever needed Our Curriculum Granny & Dot's has its own custom Fruits of the Spirit curriculum , incorporating character development, early academics, social-emotional learning, science, art, STEAM, and hands-on experiences. Our lesson plans and curriculum resources are already created, giving teachers the opportunity to focus on what they do best — connecting with children and making learning meaningful and fun. Additional Requirements:
