Step into the lead role in the teacher's absence. Communicate daily with parents and staff to support each child's development. The ideal candidate will have:

Passion for working with young children. Team-player mindset and a positive, professional attitude. Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain). Ability to pass a physical exam and background checks. A Few More Details This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position under the supervision of the Education Manager and team. Location:

Berwick, PA. However, day-to-day subbing positions available year round throughout Columbia County.

Schedule:

Requirements Education & Experience:

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. All positions must have experience with young children and their families; such as knowledge of human development, family dynamics and the needs of children. Knowledge of the health, nutrition, social, and educational needs of the young child.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Capable of participating in active play and physical activities with children. Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, stoop, sit on the floor, reach overhead, and safely navigate stairs, step stools, and step ladders. Salary Description 13.50 / hour
