Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Full-Time Assistant Teacher/Floater, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a nurturing environment for young learners. In this role, you'll support lead teachers in creating engaging, safe, and developmentally appropriate activities that promote growth and curiosity. Your positive energy will inspire children to explore, learn, and develop essential skills in a caring setting. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Duties Clean common areas, classrooms, tables, floors, and toileting areas during and after transitions Facilitate and support class transitions and timekeeping Disinfect toys and high touch areas multiple times daily Vacuum, sweep, mop, and disinfect floors and play areas daily Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and engagement Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and creativity Communicate effectively with lead teachers and families regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and well-being are prioritized at all times Administer basic first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary, adhering to health and safety protocols
REQUIREMENTS
Full time availability between 9AM and 5PM; Tuesday - Thursday Skills Familiarity with child supervision techniques, behavior management, and early childhood curriculum standards is a plus Good communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is highly preferred Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Experience with toddler care, childcare, or nannying is a plus Ability to maintain a cheerful attitude while managing multiple responsibilities in a busy environment Benefits 401k Health, dental, vision PTO & paid holidays
Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
