Job Description
Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in education as a dedicated paraprofessional supporting high school students in a vibrant learning environment. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work alongside educators and empower students to succeed academically and socially. Four passionate paraprofessionals are needed to join a supportive team. You will have the opportunity to work directly with high school-aged students who have mild to moderate needs, providing assistance in one-on-one, small-group, and classroom settings. This role invites individuals who are ready to foster growth, encourage independence, and be a consistent, positive presence throughout the school day.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
High school diploma (required) Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a school setting preferred Genuine interest in working with high school students, particularly those with mild to moderate learning or behavioral challenges Ability to follow teacher instructions and implement educational plans Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students in classroom, small group, and individualized settings Assist with academic assignments, classroom routines, and social development Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor student progress Support behavior management plans and facilitate student engagement Embrace the rewards of working with young people and the opportunity to positively shape their educational journeys.
