You know how to recognize potential, make a difficult concept understandable, and help a student accomplish something they once avoided. At True Genius Education Services, Inc. (TGES), you can apply those skills across education, career preparation, employment training, and community experiences—with prepared lessons, provided materials, and administrative support behind you. We are seeking certified teachers with a special education background who enjoy purposeful instruction, varied settings, and the opportunity to help students use what they learn. Special education certification is preferred. Part-time, three-quarter-time, and full time positions are available. We welcome educators seeking TGES as their sole employer and teachers who want additional work alongside their current school position. About True Genius Education Services TGES is a growing Arizona nonprofit providing education, transition, employment, and related support programs for individuals with disabilities. Our programs connect instruction with practical opportunities to learn, work, explore, and become more independent. Teaching takes place in high schools, at TGES locations, at employer and volunteer sites, and throughout the community. Depending on the assignment, a teacher may lead a workshop, support educational goals, teach self-advocacy and self-determination, prepare students for employment, or coach participants through tasks at a community worksite. Our students and participants have varied abilities, goals, and support needs. Some are preparing for college or career training; others are pursuing employment or developing foundational skills for greater participation and independence. We value teachers who can deliver meaningful instruction across that range while respecting each person's age, dignity, and potential. A Prepared Program. A Professional Role. Room to Grow. All lessons are planned. TGES provides established curriculum, presentations, activities, and instructional materials. Your teaching judgment matters. Use effective instructional methods and approved adaptations to make learning accessible and engaging. You have operational support. TGES manages participant recruitment, scheduling, assignments, billing, and coordination of approved community experiences. Your work has variety. Assignments may span classroom instruction, workshops, employment preparation, and community learning. Training is provided. Receive training in assigned programs, curriculum, documentation, safety, and service expectations. There is a path to expanded employment. Begin part-time or three-quarter-time, with potential for full-time work as opportunities become available. Full-time employment includes a substantial health benefit. After 60 days of full-time employment, eligible employees may receive up to $1,500 per month toward an individual health insurance plan, subject to TGES benefit-plan terms. The Role Teachers provide instruction and direct support within assigned TGES programs according to their qualifications, training, availability, and applicable program requirements. This position requires confident teaching, independent organization, professional communication, and consistent follow-through.
