The Tutoring Center is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable Part-Time Tutors to join our team. Tutors work directly with students from Pre-K through 12th grade , providing individualized instruction in Phonics, Reading, English Language Arts (ELA), and Math . Our goal is to help students improve their academic skills, grades, test scores, confidence, and overall attitude toward learning. Our tutors provide personalized attention in a structured, supportive, and positive learning environment. Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Teaching certification is a plus, but not required . High school Seniors will be considered. Previous teaching, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Patience and the ability to work with students of different ages, abilities, and learning styles. A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children and teenagers. A genuine passion for education and a desire to see students achieve success. Dependable, professional, and committed to student success. Job Type Part-Time Approximately 6-20 hours per week , depending on availability and center needs.

Job Details:
Work with students in a professional tutoring-center environment. Provide primarily one-on-one instruction, with small-group instruction as needed. No lessons to plan — our curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials are provided. No homework to grade. No traveling to students' homes. No parent conferences. Duties & Responsibilities:
Instruct students using The Tutoring Center's established curriculum and instructional methods. Provide individualized instruction based on each student's academic needs and learning level. Work with students in Phonics, Reading, ELA, and Math from Pre-K through 12th grade. Reinforce foundational academic skills and help students develop stronger learning habits. Explain concepts clearly and use appropriate strategies to help students understand challenging material. Connect skills taught at the center to students' schoolwork, academic assessments, and standardized tests. Monitor student performance and progress throughout tutoring sessions. Provide positive encouragement and constructive feedback. Motivate students to remain engaged and work toward their academic goals. Foster a positive, patient, and supportive learning environment. Maintain accurate student records and communicate student progress with center staff as required. Follow The Tutoring Center's curriculum, procedures, and instructional guidelines.
