We are the Hampshire Township Park District, providing recreational, educational and cultural opportunities that improve the quality of life through a responsive, efficient and creative park and recreation system since 1948. We are looking for Site Supervisors to work at Gary D. Wright Elementary school. This non-exempt, part time position is seasonal, coinciding with practices of our athletic programs. This position has varied hours (days/nights/weekends) up to 18 hours per week depending on the sports season schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervision of on-site staff, volunteer coaches and youth participants and/or adult participants. Main point of contact on location for questions on programming. Attendance, punctuality and dependability are a must. Exhibit excellent customer service to participants, parents and volunteers. Must be a role model for participants by using proper language, acceptable attire, appropriate behavior and being courteous at all times. Ability to provide professional written and verbal communication with participants, parents and staff. Must use good judgment and follow safety policies/protocols of the school and the park district. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age AND Have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to/from work AND Current CPR, First Aid/AED certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
