Position Summary Information Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the person assuming this position will be coordinating the Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education degree program, teaching both graduate and undergraduate classes, advising students, conducting research, publishing in professional journals, serving on various committees, and assuming responsibility for helping to develop and maintain a quality secondary teacher education program in the School of Teacher Education. Additionally, the successful candidate will assume other duties as requested by the Dean of the CEAH and the Chair of the School of Teacher Education. Qualifications Earned doctorate in education with an advanced degree or credentials in secondary education. Minimum of 5 years experience teaching in the P-12 classroom. Earned renewable teaching license. Preferred experience in higher education teaching and coordinating in secondary education program. Salary Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university's resources. Minimum Qualifications Earned doctorate in education with an advanced degree or credentials in secondary education. Preferred Qualifications Preferred experience in higher education teaching and coordinating in secondary education program. Experience with accreditation, ADA , AI, and online instruction.
