This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with neurodivergent college students, helping them build study, organization, task activation, goal setting, time management, self advocacy, and problem solving skills. As an integral part of our educational community, you will design personalized strategies and provide engaging instruction to foster independence and confidence in students. Responsibilities Assess individual student needs related to executive functioning skills and create tailored coaching plans. Deliver one-on-one coaching sessions focused on improving organization, planning, prioritization, and self-monitoring techniques. Develop and implement curriculum materials that support executive function development, integrating learning technology tools where appropriate. Adapt instructional approaches to accommodate different learning styles and cultural backgrounds, ensuring inclusive support for all students. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to monitor progress and refine coaching strategies. Utilize evidence-based methods to teach skills such as goal setting, task initiation, emotional regulation, and time management. Maintain detailed records of student progress, session notes, and intervention plans in compliance with privacy standards. Skills Experience in curriculum development tailored to executive functioning skills or related areas. Strong knowledge of learning technology platforms used for online instruction and tutoring. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and varying learning needs. Tutoring or teaching experience, especially with neurodivergent college students. Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, and team members clearly and empathetically. Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or childcare settings. Skilled in lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional adaptability to meet individual student needs. Familiarity with special education practices and early childhood education principles is advantageous. Education At least some (including ongoing) graduate-level education in psychology, counseling, social work, neuroscience, education, and related fields. Pay:
