The Robotics and Coding Track is designed to introduce K-8 students to the world of technology, encouraging critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity through hands-on exploration of coding platforms and robotics kits. We seek passionate, responsible, and energetic instructors to guide campers through this tech-infused journey!
Position Summary:
The Robotics/Coding Instructor is responsible for delivering age-appropriate, engaging lessons in robotics and coding, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment, and helping students develop confidence and foundational skills in STEM. This role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively, plan and implement daily activities, and support students' emotional, social, and academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate hands-on instruction in coding and robotics Plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate codong and robotics lessons and activities Adapt instruction for a variety of learning levels and needs Promote a safe, inclusive, and fun environment through positive guidance and engagement Set up and manage equipment, troubleshoot basic tech issues Maintain open communication with camp staff and parents as needed

Must-haves:
Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must have completed High School Diploma. Must have some experience with coding. Must love working with kids! ✅ Required Certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start): CPR (Child & Adult) First Aid Child Abuse Prevention Training ✅
Preferred Experience & Skills:
Strong technology skills are preferred, such as robotics, coding, game creation or design, animation, modifying games, video editing, digital arts, competitive gaming, significant knowledge of Scratch, Tynker, Lego, VEX, Minecraft or Roblox, etc. Experience working with children in a developmental, educational, or camp setting Strong classroom/group management and instructional skills Ability to lead group activities and implement structured, purposeful programming High energy, reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for teaching youth
Work Schedule:
Our After-School Program operates between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Individual teaching schedules will be assigned based on students' program needs. Flexibility is a plus.
Compensation & Opportunities:
$13 - 17/hr based on experience, certifications, and availability. Employee discounts available for their children. We will only review applications submitted online. Please do not send information or submit inquiries via email or phone. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
