JOB DESCRIPTION
Process Engineer-Entry Level General Summary:
We are seeking a recent engineering graduate to develop into a PCB manufacturing Process Engineer. This is an entry-level position designed for someone with strong technical aptitude, curiosity, and a hands-on approach to problem solving. Previous PCB experience is not required. The first 3-6 months will focus heavily on learning PCB manufacturing processes while developing practical engineering, troubleshooting, and process-control skills. Key Responsibilities
Learn PCB manufacturing processes through structured training and hands-on experience on the production floor.
Provide technical support to manufacturing and assist with troubleshooting process and equipment problems.
Collect and analyze process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing defects.
Assist with process development, qualification, validation, and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain process specifications, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
Support SPC, process capability studies, DOE, FMEA, and other engineering tools as experience develops.
Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and other engineering personnel.
Gradually assume ownership of assigned manufacturing processes. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
1 year of professional experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Ability and desire to learn complex manufacturing processes.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
PCB or electronics manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is curious, analytical, hands-on, and eager to learn. The successful candidate does not need to have PCB experience, but have engineering foundation and aptitude to learn the PCB industry.
