Up to $110,000/year Schedule & Shift Monday-Friday On-Site, Full-Time Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join a dynamic team in Coral Gables, FL. This full-time, on-site role is perfect for a licensed or license-track engineer with a passion for delivering innovative and cost-effective structural solutions. If you have strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills, this opportunity offers a chance to work on diverse projects across commercial, institutional, mixed-use, industrial, and public sectors. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the structural design, analysis, and coordination of projects from concept through construction administration. This position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with building codes and client requirements. Primary Job Responsibilities Design structural systems for commercial, institutional, industrial, mixed-use, and public-sector projects Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures Prepare construction documents, structural drawings, specifications, and engineering reports Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, civil engineers, and other project consultants throughout all project phases Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and respond to construction-related technical questions Conduct structural assessments, field observations, and site visits as required Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, industry standards, and client requirements Participate in project planning, scheduling, and multidisciplinary coordination meetings Assist with construction administration and provide engineering support during project execution Maintain high-quality technical documentation while supporting project budgets and schedules Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis (Master's preferred) Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure 4+ years of structural engineering experience Experience designing commercial, institutional, industrial, or mixed-use buildings Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structural design Experience with Florida Building Code, IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and related design standards preferred Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as RAM Structural System, RISA-3D, ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar AutoCAD and/or Revit experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
