Full Time Key Responsibilities Design s

Analysis:

Develop structural plans for buildings, bridges, industrial facilities, and other structures, considering loads, materials, and environmental factors such as wind, seismic activity, and snow

Code Compliance:

Ensure designs meet local, state, and international codes (e.g., AASHTO, ACI, AISC, IBC) and safety regulations

Software Use:

Apply CAD, BIM, and structural analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to model structures, simulate loads, and verify performance

Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to integrate structural solutions with aesthetic and functional requirements

Project Support:

Prepare technical specifications, bid documents, and reports; review contractor submittals; and provide guidance during construction. Inspection s

Evaluate existing structures for safety, recommend repairs or upgrades, and ensure ongoing compliance with updated codes Feasibility s

Typical Educations Certifications Education:

Bachelor s degree in Structural, Civil, or related engineering;

Licensure:

Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam required; Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred

Skills:

Proficiency in structural analysis software, knowledge of materials (steel, concrete, masonry), and understanding of building codes and standards Experience Level (3 5 Years) At this stage, the engineer is expected to independently handle medium-to-large projects, manage design elements, and contribute to project planning and execution.
