Job Description
Residential AutoCAD DrafterResidential AutoCAD Drafter We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Residential AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential architectural drafting and be comfortable creating and modifying detailed house plans using AutoCAD. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys turning design concepts and ideas into accurate, professional drawings. Responsibilities Create and modify residential floor plans, elevations, and architectural drawings using AutoCAD Develop accurate and detailed house plans based on design concepts, sketches, and specifications Make revisions and updates to existing drawings as needed Ensure drawings are accurate, consistent, and meet project requirements Work closely with the team to develop practical and visually appealing residential designs Maintain organized project files and meet established deadlines Qualifications Previous experience with AutoCAD and residential architectural drafting Strong understanding of residential floor plans and home construction Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and sketches Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with residential architecture, home building, or construction is a plus A portfolio or examples of previous residential drafting work is highly desirable What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail, and understands that quality drafting is an important part of creating a successful home design.
