In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and detailed schematics that support architectural, engineering, and construction projects. Your expertise in CAD software and building information modeling (BIM) tools will be essential in translating concepts into clear, accurate representations. Starting hourly rate between $25 and $30 and hour. Duties Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD software to meet project specifications and standards Create construction detail documentation that accurately reflects design intent and complies with building codes and regulations Utilize BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks to develop comprehensive building information models for coordination and analysis Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts and produce precise schematics and system designs Assist in building code analysis to ensure all designs meet local regulations and safety standards Prepare presentation graphics, technical illustrations, and visualizations for client review and project proposals Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and other CAD platforms is highly desirable Experience with building information modeling (BIM) tools for integrated project delivery Skilled in construction detail documentation and understanding of construction processes Ability to perform building code compliance analysis and interpret technical standards Excellent drafting skills with attention to accuracy and detail in both 2D schematics and 3D models Background in interior design, mechanical design or engineering CAD design is a plus Familiarity with graphic design principles for creating clear visual presentations Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
