Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer- Welding/Structural Steel

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting or equivalent experience.
Hands-on design and drafting experience in structural steel, vessels, ducting, and piping for the power, heavy industrial equipment, or petrochemical industry
Detailed working knowledge & in-depth experience with AutoCAD and 3-D software such as Inventor, MicroStation, etc. (must be able to make 3D drawings).
Familiar with applicable codes and standards including OSHA, AISC, and ASME (Section VIII, B31.1, and B31.3).
Familiar with welding related to structural steel and pressure vessels.
Ability to apply concepts of advanced geometry and complexity.
