We are supporting an opportunity for a Structural and Payload Design Engineer focused on aircraft structure design work within a dynamic engineering environment. This position supports the development and analysis of structural solutions for landing gear, doors, or windows, with a strong emphasis on clear communication, technical problem-solving, and regular, predictable attendance.
Responsibilities:
Perform structures analysis and support aircraft structure design activities across landing gear, doors, or windows. Develop technical solutions to a wide range of structural problems in a highly dynamic, team-oriented environment. Communicate complex and nuanced results clearly and concisely to a broad audience. Contribute to work that requires regular and predictable attendance and successful completion of training as a contingency for assignment.
Required:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil (including approved Structural), Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences from an ABET accredited university. 8+ years of related work experience in structures design. Experience with 3D modeling such as
CATIA/ENOVIA.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex, nuanced results in a clear, concise manner. Ability to excel in a highly dynamic environment and team-oriented atmosphere.
