Duties Oversee daily operations related to the maintenance and repair of industrial electric motors, including AC and DC motors. Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a skilled and motivated workforce. Coordinate repair schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency across all motor repair activities. Perform manual machining tasks as needed for motor repairs, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues in industrial motors, diagnosing faults accurately. Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and quality assurance purposes. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with other departments to prioritize repairs and optimize operational workflows. Stay updated on advancements in motor technology and repair techniques to improve service quality. Requirements Proven experience in industrial electric motor repair, including working with AC and DC motors. Strong knowledge of maintenance repair procedures specific to electric motors. Skilled in manual machining techniques relevant to motor repair tasks. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing technical teams in an industrial setting. Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in motors. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals related to electric motors.
